Marilyn Long shown here making yet another sale this time to GVSU Hockey Alumnus Chris Moore
Ever since Walker Ice and Fitness opened it's doors back in 1999, Marilyn Long has been a huge part of operations manning her post in the pro shop. She has put smiles on many kids faces and always made people feel welcome with a smile and welcoming greeting. Not only is she an employee but a huge Hawk fan as well. She is always asking the participants if they win and is always excited to see a victory at any age level.
Marilyn has always put pride into finding the right equipment for each individual. One of her favorite stories is when a set of twins came into the shop just starting their first year of hockey having no idea what they needed. Long got them all suited up and through some bargain deals saved them 150 dollars then what they were planning on spending.

Marilyn is always cheerful and ready to help...and she knows a lot about hockey equipment too! WIFC is lucky to have her!
