Well here we go! Welcome to the inaugural year or the Walker Hawk Blog! This blog is dedicated to promoting the hawk teams by showing weekend scores, tournament recaps, preview games and possibly some personal profiles. If you would like to be a specific blogger for your team let me know and get you set up to blog about your team.
The Hawks program is growing by leaps and bounds, they are dedicated to building a good foundation for individual hockey players to become the best they can be. My personal philosophy is the hockey rink is always right, the puck does not lie and no matter what happens around the world as far as the economy, war, and natural disasters... hockey will always be great and will always be the BEST game on earth.

- The name is Phil Murray I have been involved with WIFC for almost two years. I have worked in the pro shop and worked out regularly in the fitness center. Next year I am joining the best travel program that Michigan has to offer and taking over the Bantam AA. I have coached at Grand Rapids Catholic Central for two years and was a player at GVSU, for the Division 2 ACHA for four years. I believe that Hockey is the best sport in the world and just love still being involved whether its coaching, working at the rink or even playing in the Beer Leagues.
